I love beautiful things. Beautiful places, clothes, objects and spaces. But I want those things to feel good too. For me, beauty loses something when it comes at the expense of people or the natural world, or when what sits beneath the surface doesn’t match what we see.

That’s really where The Exquisite Guide began. I’m interested in the whole: how something is made, the materials chosen, how people are treated, and ultimately, why some things simply feel better than others. This is my edit of the places, brands and experiences I think are worth knowing about, including those independently Recognised by The Exquisite Standard.
